This one is simplicity itself, unlike some of the yeast-raised varieties!

1 lb. (3 1/3 c.) flour | 1 lb. butter |
1 lb. cream cheese | |
Fillings: Lekvar (prune or apricot butter), apricot or cherry preserves, nuts
Put all ingredients in a large bowl and mix. Shape dough into small walnut-size balls and refrigerate until chilled. Roll balls by hand in powdered sugar then roll flat on board into small circles. Fill with a filling then hand roll into crescent shapes. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake until light brown and fluffy at 350°F for 20 minutes.
