Harmish was home village to my 2nd great grandmother, Elizabeth Handler(1836-1889), and her father Joseph (1807-1854) who married Anna Milkovits above. Also from Harmish, Caherine Stubits (1809-1868 and her mother, Katharina Stubits (?-?) Harami Bethany Young Markt Neuhodis (Város-Hadász) Researching my 2nd great grandfather and great grandmother's family. My great grandmother, Theresa Marie Young (nee Haramy), daughter of Frank Haramy, listed as Franz Harami on naturalization records. Franz listed his birth as August 3, 1979 Markt Hodis, Burgenland Hungary (Austria). Married Marie Wampel 1903, Theresa was born 1904 with birthplace also listed as Markt Hodis. They arrived in New York circa 1907 and then settled in Fond du Lac, WI. I am trying to trace back further than Franz; his parents' names seem to be Josef Harami and Magdalene Pataki but I haven't been able to find any more detail.
