Joseph, the eldest, married Catherine Walters in 1876, she died in childbirth in 1887. The following year Joseph married Anna SANFTNER, a single mother from Mönchhof, Burgenland, in 1888. Their family grew to 10 children and in 1902, Joseph, Anna and some of their children relocated to Wyoming MN, where they farmed in Chisago County, until they passed away in 1932 and 1926, respectively.
